QLUG had the privilege of joining in with the annual Technicolour Kids Festival (formally Technicolour Multicultural Festival).
In a year where displays and opportunities to exhibit have been limited due to Covid-19, it was a great opportunity to meet new people and support a community event with our collections and creations. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of this event that brings people from many communities all over Brisbane, to enjoy some entertainment for the entire family!
No children is left out on the Technicolour Kids Festival which is why the event organisers partner with the AEIOU Foundation. The first hour and a half of the festival is specifically for families with children with Autism and Down Syndrome. This partnership allows families to enjoy the event in a less crowded and noisy environment.
